New & Old

Tuesday we had five new additions to our family – three girls and two boys.  Tod and Susie had their puppies.

Unfortunately, Monday, my parents had to put their sweet, beautiful Luna-girl to sleep.  I happened to be there Sunday and took these pictures.

The Door

The front door of our house is {red}.  My favorite color – Aaron’s least favorite color.  When we decided to paint our new home dark gray with white trim, he indicated that he thought the door should be white, too.  I really wanted a colorful door, but I could not think of any color that [...]

The Graduation

My sister, Erika, graduated from Eastern Oregon University last weekend.  Her post-secondary education has been a winding path that started in Wisconsin, wound through Poland for several years, and finally culminated back in La Grande Saturday.  This adventure has taken her16 years, through the birth of her six children, and several other speed bumps along [...]

Four Versions of Spring Break

The four girlies in our family went four separate directions this year for Spring Break.
Reagan spent the week with her friend, Emma, at the Coast.  They had a FABULOUS time, and Reagan hasn’t stopped talking about it yet!  I’m hoping that Emma’s mom, Laura, took lots of pictures and sends me some.  I think one [...]

A Walk Down Memory Lane

And So It Ends

I posted a major update on our Dream Home Blog tonight.  The construction process is slowing down – it’s nearly at a stand-still.  Not because of any problems or hold-ups, but because we are pretty much done with it!  We have several loose ends to tie up, and once they are done my parents will be [...]

40 Years

Today is my parents’ 40th Wedding Anniversary.  It’s so amazing to me – I don’t feel like I’m old enough to have parents who are old enough to have been married for 40 years – I think it is awesome!
They have taken the weekend to go to Wallowa Lake Lodge, golfing, hiking, and enjoying some quality [...]

So Cool

My dad is on the board for the Grande Ronde Hospital in LaGrande, and they have meetings at the end of this week in California.  He and my mom decided to take the entire week for a vacation, and they are spending the first three days of their week in Napa Valley.  I think its [...]
