Christmas morning at our house always includes three things: 1. Orange Rolls and Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast, 2. Reagan playing Santa Claus, and 3. Lots of laughing. This year wasn’t any different except Todd and Terrance joined us. Amazingly enough, the kids all stayed in bed until nearly 9, even though they had been awake for quite some time.

Reagan’s Christmas Program
Reagan is the only one of my girls who still participates in any sort of music program at school. She plays trombone in the 5th Grade Band, and the entire K-5th grades put on a holiday musical play for the Christmas Program, as well.
Christmas Has Landed
While the girls were at their dad’s house this weekend, they asked that I get a tree so we could decorate when they got home. Dad and I got it put up, and when they got home last night, we decorated. The tree isn’t quite finished, we’re waiting for Emma to get her to add her ornaments to it, as well.
For now, it finally feels and smells like Christmas in our house, and we love it!

Thank God Its Over!
For my degree I had to take a beginning drawing class. I don’t like drawing, and I especially don’t like drawing when I don’t get to choose my subject(s).
This is my final project:
Our final class critique is tomorrow, and I am looking forward to it so I can be done with this class.
My last two finals are Thursday and Friday, and then I will be one term closer to graduation!
17 + 361
We celebrated Emma’s 18th birthday today (its not until Friday).
I am so amazed at the beautiful young woman who has taken the place of my baby girl.
I am so thankful to be her mom, but I am even more thankful that she is MY daughter.
